Oma and Opa were here the weekend of June 12. I think I can speak for all of us when I say it was a fantastic trip. Ryan didn't have to work, the weather was beautiful and the company was perfect. We went out for some nice dinners (some nicer than Ryan expected). We rode around the city on top of a red city tour bus with perhaps the best guide there in all of Manhattan. We had lunch in Little Italy, searched for goodies (and bathrooms) in China Town and went to the top of Rockefeller Center at night.
On their last day here, we had plans to take a boat trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Unfortunately, Spirit airlines canceled those plans when they canceled all their flights due to strikes. Oma and Opa rented a car and were able to enjoy a leisurly drive back to Michigan.
Ryan and I were so happy that they were able to make it out here. The visit may have been short, but we filled it with great sights, food and conversation. Above are the few photos we took while they were here. We were honestly having so much fun, we forgot to stop and get pictures. (Sorry Mom)
